Call for faculty participants: Dissertation research study on academic freedom in teaching
Madeline Rowe, a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities, is conducting a dissertation research study on how early career faculty members (tenure-track, but not yet tenured) perceive academic freedom in their teaching.
Current faculty members of any rank and teaching in any discipline are invited to complete a brief survey about the impact of recent state and federal legislation on academic freedom in teaching, with the option to participate in a follow-up interview. The survey is anonymous and will take 15-20 minutes to complete.
The study is approved by the University of Minnesota IRB and supervised by Professor Andrew Furco. Please contact Madeline directly at rowe0222@umn.edu with any questions regarding participation.
